Tonnies, the German meat firm, is closing its Weimarer Wurstwaren manufacturing site in Nohra, Thuringia, with the plant due to be shuttered on 28th February. According to an MDR report, Tonnies cited a slowdown in investment and price pressures in the meat industry as factors in the closure. Dollinghareico produces a range of meat products under the Dolling, Hareico and Landhof Lubz brands, specialising in meat and poultry salami as well as fresh and canned sausages.
