Ferrara, a US confectionery firm, is set to close its plant in Creston, IA with the loss of 250 jobs, according to a report in the Des Moines Register. Ferrara manufactures products under a total of 16 brands, including Trolli, Lemonheads and RedHots, with a focus on gummy confectionery.
