Buderim, an Australian producer of ginger products, has announced that it is acquiring the Hawaii, US based macadamia producer Royal Hawaiian Orchards and merging it with rival grower MacFarms to create the largest macadamia business in the continental USA. Royal Hawaiian Orchards and Buderim are respectively Hawaii’s largest and second largest macadamia nut orchard owners and together account for more than 65% of macadamia production in the US, according to Buderim.  …
