Belgian brewery Brouwerij Martens has announced the acquisition of United Dutch Breweries (UDB), a Netherlands-based brewing company, from European investment company Gimv. Offering “affordable premium import brands”, UDB is known in particular for lagers such as Oranjeboom and Royal Dutch, as well as the malt drink 3 Horses.
