Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR, the Italian private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Alimenta Produzioni, a manufacturer of traditional Italian baked goods and flatbreads. Headquartered in Riccione, Alimenta Produzioni specialises in piadina romagnola and pinsa, a regional flatbread segment that now accounts for 30% of its turnover.
