Cerealto, the multinational food company, has signed an agreement with Grupo Siro to acquire two factories from the Spanish group.
The two facilities acquired by Cerealto are a bakery in Burgos and a sliced bread facility in Malaga. The deal is in addition to the recent acquisition of a biscuit factory in Portugal as part of the firm’s expansion plans in southern Europe.
Cerealto manufactures bakery products including biscuits, cereal bars, pasta, bread, gluten-free products and snacks under its own brand, as well as for large distribution chains. It operates in 40 countries with facilities in Spain, Portugal, the UK, Italy and Mexico.
