The Swiss chocolate company Lindt has launched its “Hello” confectionery brand in South Africa and is now supporting the launch through a marketing campaign taking place at locations across the country.
“Post-boxes” are being set up in malls in several cities in South Africa, with consumers invited to send a postcard with a message to friends or family anywhere in the world. In return, they will receive a free product sample. Spot prizes and entry into a prize draw are also available.
Those who are unable to attend these events will also be able to enter the prize draw by sending a digital postcard via a dedicated app, Bizcommunity reports.
The “Hello” range consists of chocolate in Strawberry Cheesecake, Cookies and Cream, Caramel Brownie and Crunchy Nougat flavours in formats including on-the-go bars, slabs, tins and boxes. According to Confectionery News, the range was first launched in Switzerland in April 2013 to attract millennial consumers to premium chocolate.
