The Nutriment Company (TNC), the Sweden-based provider of natural premium pet nutrition, has expanded into Poland through the acquisition of Warsaw-based Zoo Factory.
The deal marks TNC’s tenth acquisition of 2025 and its first entry into the Polish market. Zoo Factory is a leading local distributor and manufacturer with over 25 years of experience, managing a portfolio of more than 250 products under brands such as Hilton and Animals. The company also operates a private label business and has a strong presence in the Polish grocery retail sector. While the financial terms were not disclosed, TNC confirmed that Zoo Factory’s current leadership team, including managing director Slawomir Musur, will remain in place.
TNC CEO Anders Kristiansen commented: “Entering Poland is a major milestone for us – and a powerful way to close an exceptional year of growth. Together, we are well positioned to build a leading role in one of Europe’s most dynamic pet markets”.
TNC, which is owned by the Nordic private equity firm Axcel, stated that the initial phase of integration will focus on introducing its broader portfolio of supplements to Polish consumers. The group already operates nine production facilities across Europe and owns brands including DIBO, Barfgold and Natural Instinct.
