Grupa Sokolow, one of the largest meat producers in Central and Eastern Europe, has opened a new meat processing plant in Sokolow Podlaski.
Sokolow already has ownership of 8 specialised production plants in Poland, being the plant in Sokolow Podlaski the largest of the company. The branch in Sokolow specialises in sliced cold meats, sausages, and grill products as well as a wide variety of pork meats.
President of the Management Board of Sokołów SA, Boguslaw Miszczuk, said: “Our priority is the continuous development of the assortment and providing consumers with high-quality, tasty products. The implemented investments allow us to meet the expectations of our clients”.
The new processing plant is a modern two-story building with three specialised halls and two meat storehouses. The total area of the building is 12,000 square metres as well as is equipped with the most modern VAC and MAP packaging lines as well as a new line for ground meat. The system for storing meat uses glycols, taking the environmental impacts as well as the effectiveness into account.
