Plus, the Netherlands-based supermarket chain, is set to double its lineup of organic products under the Plus Bio+ brand, according to an article in Levensmiddelenkrant.
Following the recent launch of products such as canned vegetables, muesli and pasta as new additions to the organic range, the Dutch retailer is also set to introduce products such as Plus Bio+ coconut oil and spelt pasta in 2017, the report says. The move is set to take Plus’s private label organic range beyond 1,500 SKUs.
Reportedly coinciding with the expansion of the line is a revamp of the brand identity itself, with packs redesigned to include a “fresh look and feel”.
Plus is one of the Netherlands’ leading supermarket chains, with 262 stores spread across the country, in addition to one national and three regional distribution centres.
