Chicago-based beer giant MillerCoors has launched a range of hard iced teas under the name of Easy Tea Co.
The iced teas are said to have a “crisp citrus flavour” and a less sweet taste than normal teas, with an alcohol content of 5% by volume. The drinks hit shelves at the beginning of August, sold in silver and bronze colour cans of 24oz.
Commenting on the launch, Easy Tea Co. marketing manager Melissa Wagamon said: “We’re excited to bring people a hard iced tea with just the right amount of sweetness.The name says it all. The simple, yet crisp and citrusy taste of Easy Tea makes it the perfect drink for kicking back and relaxing with a few close friends”.
