Modelo Group, a leader in the manufacture, distribution and sale of beer in Mexico, has announced the launch of a new online platform focused on speciality beer.
Named Beerhouse and available at www.beerhouse.mx, the new portal offers a wide variety of domestic, craft and imported beer, including brands that are not yet available in the country, according to Modelo. In addition, consumers can use the platform to learn about the type, history and origin of each beer and its producer, as well as finding recommendations for food pairings.
Launching the new service, Ricardo Tadeu, general director at Modelo, explained: “Beerhouse will give visibility to craft brewers and promote specialty national and international beer in a way that provides us with the opportunity to expand our distribution channels and bring our products to all parts of the country through the means of e-commerce. I am confident that this new initiative will help us to contribute to beer culture in Mexico”.
Beerhouse currently has 55 brands available, with the expectation that the number will increase to over 100 by the end of the year. Imports from Argentina, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States are among the products represented.
