Latteria Merano is expanding its range of yoghurt drinks under the Bella Vita brand in Italy with the launch of Bella Vita Free, a new vitamin-enriched yoghurt drink that is free from lactose.
The product, made 100% from milk from the northern Italian Alto Adige region, is targeted at the almost 7 in 10 Italians that are now intolerant to lactose, according to an article in Beverfood. Bella Vita Free Yoghurt Drink is claimed to be a source of B6 and D vitamins and low in calories, and is available in the varieties strawberry and mixed fruit.
