Nature’s Path, an organic breakfast and snack food company, has announced the acquisition of Love Child Organics, a Canadian organic baby food and children’s snack brand.
Reportedly started from homemade recipes, Love Child Organics is touted as having been created on the promise of delivering “truly healthy, clean and organic” baby and children’s food products.
The deal “strategically positions the company in the flourishing baby food market”, the company relayed in a statement.
Commenting on the acquisition, Nature’s Path president Arjan Stephens said: “Love Child Organics’ dedication to producing premium, nutrient-packed, organic meals and snacks that bring a smile on every child’s face aligns seamlessly with our own commitment to delicious, organic and sustainable food”.
“The brand carries a warmth and commitment to quality that we hold dear at Nature’s Path Organic Foods, making it a perfect addition to our family of brands”, he added. “We are eager to carry forward the Love Child Organics brand promise of nourishing growing bodies, hearts and minds”.
The transaction is scheduled to close on or around 30th June. Financial terms were not disclosed.
