Felicetti, the Italian pasta firm, has launched a line of organic pasta for babies in Canada, according to a report in Food In Canada.
Launched in a 340g bag under the Felicetti brand, the pasta is said to be small in size and easy-to-swallow, and is specially designed for babies over the age of six months. A Stelline variety comes in the shape of tiny stars using organic emmer wheat, and a second Coralline variety is in the shape of mini tubes and is made with organic ancient durum wheat.
Felicetti Pasta For Baby is said to have a naturally nutty flavour and to be enriched with a good source of vitamin B1, to ensure growth and healthy bones, as well as being a source of protein and fibre.
Pastificio Felicetti is the largest organic pasta producer in Italy, and uses only “pure, chlorine-free Dolomite Mountain spring water” in the manufacture of the new product.
