Brazilian wine cooperative Vinicola Aurora has announced that the company is investing R$25 million in 2025 ($4.3 million) to modernise its production operations.
According to sources, the new money comes on the back of R$130 million ($22.5 million) the company has invested in structural improvements over the last few years, including increasing Vinicola Aurora’s total storage capacity from 85 million litres in 2021 to 92 million in 2024.
Among other things, the new investment will be used to acquire 47 500,000 litre tanks for wine and grape juice, install a 1.5 litre drinks carton line with capacity for 7,000 units per hour, and add machinery to increase production capacity for bottles from 12,000 per hour to 18,000.
Money is also earmarked to upgrade the company’s e-commerce presence, including optimising processes, improving the consumer experience and digital integration.
