Integralmedica, a supplement product company, is launching a new hazelnut-based spread in Brazil that is claimed to contain enhanced levels of protein.
Part of the company’s Body Size product line, the new launch – branded Nutwhey – is claimed to be an innovative combination of hazelnut, cocoa and whey protein. Amongst its benefits, the product is said to be a source of energy, to provide strength and to help increase muscle mass.
“Even though they understand the benefits of whey protein, many people end up finding it difficult to include it in their diet”, stated Integralmedica’s marketing manager Rafael Gallego. “NUTWHEY is a practical way to help people to meet their daily protein needs. Besides being tasty, it helps you to feel satisified and eliminates the temptation to eat other sweet foods”.
According to the manufacturer, the product is free of gluten and added sugar. It is further claimed to contain 36% fewer carbohydrates and nearly three times as much protein as the average hazelnut spread.
Recommended both on its own and as an ingredient in healthy desserts, Nutwhey hazelnut spread is available in tubs of 200g retailed at R$31.90 ($7.94).
