Brazil: Diletto and Bauducco create single-serve panettone ice cream

Impulse ice-cream specalist Diletto and bakery company Bauducco have united to create a new single serve ice cream for the festive period.

Launched in Brazil at the beginning of December, Diletto Classic Pannetone Ice Cream is described as featuring the traditional flavours of classic panettone combined with Bauducco glace fruits, and is said to contain only 88 calories.

“The Classic Panettone ice cream from Casa Bauducco has a delicious hand-crafted flavour which reflects all the origins of the Bauducco family. It is a combination of our two great national passions: panettone and ice cream”, commented Paulo Cardamone, Director of Bauducco.

Fábio Meneghini, managing partner at Diletto, added: “Diletto and Casa Bauducco have been working together to develop the product for almost a year. We expect this ice cream to enjoy the same success as the other products we have launched over the course of the year”.
