USA: Wellness Pet Company launches high-protein dog food range

Wellness Pet Company, the US-based natural pet food manufacturer, has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of Wellness Protein Bowls for dogs.

The new range consists of wet dog food recipes designed to be served as either a complete, balanced meal or a bowl topper. According to the company, each bowl contains 38g of high-quality protein and is formulated without corn, wheat, soy or artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. The line includes six distinct recipes featuring various protein combinations, such as Chicken & Beef, Chicken & Guinea Fowl, Chicken & Lamb, Chicken & Salmon, Chicken & Turkey and Turkey & Duck. These varieties are available in both grain-free and grain-inclusive options to cater to different dietary requirements.

The Tewksbury, Massachusetts-headquartered company, which also manages the Old Mother Hubbard and Whimzees brands, has made the new range available at major US retailers including PetSmart and Petco.
