Germany: Bacardi to launch Twistails cocktail ‘pods’

Bacardi, the world’s largest privately-held spirits company, has announced the launch of Twistails cocktails pods, designed to provide bar-quality cocktails at home.

Launched in the UK and Germany, the dual-chamber cocktail pods are described as being filled with Bacardi rum and natural flavours, and are available in the flavours mojito, strawberry daiquiri, and rum punch.

According to sources, consumers only need to add water and ice to the Twistails shaker, attach the strainer and the pod foil side down, twist, and shake to prepare a “bar-perfect” cocktail at home.

Bacardi digital and e-commerce director Ankush Manchanda said: “With more and more people seeking convenience and home entertainment solutions, we asked ourselves how Bacardi could use its expertise as one of the world’s top spirits companies to create a product that would address this gap; and this is how Twistails was born”.
