FMCG company Cargill has announced the acquisition of Polish value-added food company Konspol, providing a portfolio of chilled, convenience, frozen and cold cut categories.
With the acquisition, Cargill enters into the Polish market with its protein business strengthening the company’s global poultry footprint to 14 countries. It will aso increase the production capacity and proximity to existing customers offering expanded value-added and poultry products.
Konspol operates a feed mill, five broiler farms and two processing complexes employing more than 1,700 people.
