Global food company Flagship Food has acquired the Glutenfreeda brand for an undisclosed amount.
The Glutenfreeda range focuses on gluten-free products, including oatmeal, granola, flatbread, tortillas, burritos, sandwich and wraps.
As part of the deal Flagship Food will take over operations in Gletenfreeda’s facility in Burlington, WA.
Yvonne Gifford, founder and chief executive officer of Glutenfreeda, commented: “We have great products and great customers. What we needed was a great business partner. Flagship is the perfect fit for our business, our team and our production facility”.
Rob Holland, CEO of Flagship Food, added: “Over the past decade, Yvonne and her team have developed a tremendous portfolio of gluten-free and ‘better-for-you’ products that represent what consumers today want in their food products”.
